1. AYURVEDA COURSES
Certificate in Ayurveda Nursing & Panchakarma Therapy (6 Months)
Eligibility:
Candidates must have completed SSLC or +2 examinations from a recognized board, preferably with a score of min 45% marks.
Candidates preferably must have passed the exam in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects.
2. DENTAL HYGIENIST COURSE
Diploma in Dental Hygiene (1 year)
Dental hygienist are qualified staff who assess oral health of patients, assist the dentist, take and develop dental radiographs. They have a specific scope of clinical procedures they provide to their patients. They assess a patient's condition in order to offer patient-specific preventive and educational services to promote and maintain good oral health. A major role of a dental hygienist is to perform periodontal therapy which includes things such periodontal charting, periodontal debridement (scaling and root planing), prophylaxis (preventing disease) or periodontal maintenance procedures for patients with periodontal disease. The programme focuses on preventive dentistry, oral hygiene, dental radiography, periodontal treatment, basic restorations and extracting of deciduous teeth, etc. Additionally, the theoretical teaching and practical clinical teaching is provided by treating patients under supervision. Working side-by-side with a dentist, a dental hygienist’s primary concern is with the preventative oral healthcare of their patients. Dental hygienists will clean a patient's teeth, removing tartar, stains and plaque as they brush, floss and scrape.
